Yet another "Suppress" that allows the caster to move.

Unreformed Shaco··3 votes·514 views

Poor Malzahar stuck standing still while Skarner and Urgot run freely.

Call it something different instead of confusing everybody by which double standard you want to live by this patch.

EDIT: I don't give a fuck about Malzahar. I care about muddying the waters for no apparent reason.

Should change your Summoner name from Unreformed Shaco to Uninformed Shaco.

What part of you thought "suppression" meant they needed to stand still?

Suppression:

  • You can't control your character's movement
  • You can't auto attack
  • You can't cast abilities (exception for Oranges)
  • You can't use items (exception for item 3140 )
  • You can't use Summoner Spells
  • Not reduced by Tenacity

Warwick, Malzahar, Skarner, Urgot, and Tahm Kench all have Suppression. The definition is not any different now with Urgot moving during his ult than it was when he stood still.

Well why would Malz need to move?

He doesn't, the point is why not call it something different if they have different rules?

The whole point of suppression was "I can't act while I channel and neither can you. Can't be cleansed."

Now it's just an uncleansable stun.

Plenty of people, mostly newcomers, have asked for some clarity or explanation on the types of CC, and shit like this only makes it harder for them to learn.

you can definitely cleanse a suppression...

Idk why you thought that suppression means you can't walk either: Tahm and Skarner both can move while suppressing someone

Actually cleanse cannot remove suppression. Only QSS can do that.

my bad I thought he was talking about qss

I forgot that cleanse exists tbh

The whole point of suppression was "I can't act while I channel and neither can you. Can't be cleansed."

And where did you read that?

I mean skarner is meant to move during it

Unreformed Shaco1 votes

So why not call it something different?

Sona Ping1 votes

Because that has nothing to do with suppression.

Malz is already the best Mid right now... how broken he would be if he was free to do stuff during his ult.

Malzahar doesn't suppress himself during his ult, he channels.

Channelling is a part of several champion abilities: fiddle ult, shen ult, nunu ult, xerath ult, jhin ult, mf ult...
