This is how you make Yuumi good and not broken
You buff her shield. Her current numbers are still viable without being utterly overpowered as well as the CD on her leap early. She honestly needs a buff to her passive. increase the cd on it a bit while buffing the actual strength and scaling of it.
The logic here is twofold. You aren't buffing her damage in any significant way, and she has to expose herself to danger in order to gain the shield, so it all has counter play.
