He has enough range to compete with Xerath midlane...
He has the power scaling of an ADC (because, you know, he is one)
He has a long-range gapcloser/escape...
And to top it all off, he deals mixed damage
This isn't a rant, this is a serious question. What is his weakness? As it stands, when he goes mid, he's like a Xerath - but with enough mobility to be ungankable, and you can't itemize efficiently against him...
if xerath cant outrange a corki in midlane, xerath is doing something VERY wrong. His gap closer takes a short half second channle before he actually starts moving, and the movement is fairly slow compared to others, so if ur quick you can catch him with a stun during this time, his basics actually have fairly average attack range for ADC's so using someone who can outrange him (excluding tristana due to the fact she doesnt beat him early or mid game). someone like cait, draven, varus. Personally i feel lucian is good against corki too since alot of corkies early damage comes from his Q, Lucian ca dash away from it, while poking at corki with his own Q/ passive combo or dash/passive combo. Having a support that can mitigate a bunch of damage is a good combo with your adc to try and deal with corki. Janna, Nami, Lulu. all good picks. dont forget bot lane isnt an ADC vs ADC and Support vs Support. its a 2v2. If you have an adc that gets beat by corki, try to have a support that can harass him to keep him from dominating the lane. hope this helps

I like how everybody wanted Lucian to be gutted when Corki is basically the same ADC.

Corki is the worst late game ADC.
His only really long range damage is his ultimate, so if you are afraid of his poke, build MR. His weakness is simple, he is THE worst scaling adc. If you are on par with him with anything, you won the lane.
My worst issue when I play Corki are mana problems and interruptions mid-dash. Plus people dodging my Qs and missiles, but that is my fault.
He can't really shred tanks late game unlike Vayne or Kog'Maw for example - and he has no CC whatsoever!
He is getting nerfed patch after patch ( next one being his W mana cost from 50 to 100, yaaay), so don't worry about it so much ;)
in theory. low range and for an adc, low dps. However, atm even a low dps adc has more than enough dps to shred through tanks, and his low aa range doesn't matter that much cause of the long range on his Q+R aswell as on his W
he doesn't scale quite as well into the late game when compared to other adc's. he is pretty strong now with lucian being nerfed as much as he has corki and lucian might be on equal terms soon.
