The removal of deathfire touch hurt ap bard

Since bard's meep damage counts as single target but works as aoe he was able to waveclear really quickly and lategame when he had alot of chimes and a max of 8 or 9 meeps he was able to proc deathfire touch permanently on enemy champions. it gave him 0.25 ap ratio for every hit and really helped him scale. Both aery and arcane comet are way weaker on ap bard specifically because how his chimes work and he got hurt alot more than most other champions. I know this wont affect most people as ap bard is considered sort of troll and is uncommon but if riot could compensate for us ap bard players in any other way it would be greatly appreciated. ty

Bard wasn't meant to be played ap anyway.

Besides, You never tried electrify/Thunderlords on him did you? Or predator for that matter.

The problem is that AP Bard is just watered-down AP-anything-else. Even AP other supports, really. There are more fit mages who they clearly intend to stay there (LUUUUULUUUUUUUUUU) and others they would rather see dial back into more supportive roles-- with everything Bard can do that isn't meeps, it's no shocker that Riot wants to bring out the better in his latent role than in his damage potential.

I'd suggest revising the way you play to involve other players a little more, and you may find his lack of dueling strength has been replaced by other strengths.
