Windwall change

I see nothing wrong with Yasuo`s windwall, but everyone cries about it.

I had an idea which I'm not sure would make it any better, but it would at least somewhat limit his ability to use it.

What if Windwall would only block as much damage equal to the amount of flow he has accumulated at that time? (base amount + current flow/scale based on his current flow)

Of course, doing this would consume all of his flow and reset the meter to zero. So essentially he would convert his flow shield into the Windwall and throw it in front of him. This would also turn his flow into an actual resource.

Don't cheer yet Yasuo haters, this would come at a price. If it will no longer block every projectile for the full duration like it does now, and it would also leave him without a flow shield, there should be some compensation. I would expect that flow would be accumulated more rapidly and/or have a larger pool. I would also expect that the overall cool down for his windwall would be lowered as well.

The biggest offender of his windwall is that it starts behind him. That's just bad coding.

Well the fact that it originates from his model actually makes sense to me. It is a wall of wind created by sweeping his sword in front of him.

It also makes it more of a reactionary tool. If it originated from the ground at which the wall will rest, you run the risk of over shooting the projectile, which will actually make it feel more buggy.

Because it originates at that point he is able to block behind him by shooting it forward.

First of all, I've never actually seen or heard of that happening. Please provide me with a link to a video if you can find one.

Second, this could only possibly happen within a split second. It would be so insanely difficult to actually do this on any consistent basis, and even if you could, the opportunities in which it would be needed would be incredibly few and far between.
