Not for the reason that you think

So let's give him the nerf hammer, or rework him to the point he actually takes skill to not just ult off every Janna knock up, or Thresh pull, Braum ult, Xin ult, etc.

I just want to fucking play the dude. I can't do ranked or draft without having people getting him for me or banning him. I love the champion, the concept, the lore, and his kit. He's one of my favorite champions in the game and I actually want to play him more without doing blind.

People are uptight about him due to the fact that they can't play him or play against him because the aren't skilled or experienced.

They go into games, get wrecked by a Level 7 Mastery Yasuo and then come and complain about him on the boards.

To be honest, he could be nerfed into the worst playable character in league, but he would still be banned. It's literally a meme now to hate Yasuo, just like Riven and Vayne. When the 10 bans happen, he's going to be on perma ban regardless of nerfs.

It's not just a meme, people dislike him for his gameplay and his popularity. I play about 1 blind pick game a month, and I have to say, every single one I've played last 2 seasons had a Yasuo in both teams. If he was gone the game would be a lot more fun for quite a few people who either hate him, or just want to play vs something else for a change. Banning him this much basically makes it as if the game was without Yasuo entirely, which is something that a lot of people would probably enjoy at this point.

Well that's their problem. If you can't deal with a certain champ, you play draft or ranked and you ban him. He is so easy to deal with, that it is sad to see people ban him.

But, it can't really be helped.

The average people who ban him are unranked to bronze as his ban percentage takes a sharp decline come Diamond+. They understand how to play the game to a point where almost every player can deal with him early. Watch some streams of higher Elo players. You will see that Yasuo is only super common in blind pick. Once you get to a higher elo, he is almost unplayable due to the amount of players who are actually good at the game.

He is UNPLAYABLE at the higher LCS level because he is almost impossible to do well with at the pro level.

IMAQTPIE can deal with Yasuo and he mains BOT lane ADC.
