Level up the ult, then silence then e then q. You scale so much more than any tank initiator as you also have damage. The power of a "support" whose kit is similar to a support but not really...

Supp cho runs oom way too fast to be viable, since he isn't getting mana back from his passive. His health sustain is also gutted compared to solo lane cho (again, because of the passive). Not to mention your ult will be slow to stack, since you can't use it to kill foes otherwise you'd be KSing your carry.

I hope they don't mind the 1 mini minion I steal for a GOOD cause.... more hp= more trades or harass taken is ok (since you can't dodge ALL moves the enemy does). I start coin and I'm very conservative with mana. If they engage I WILL fight back. Other than that I don't waste Q missing or W spam either. I max W because longer silence helps more utility in lane.

even then carries get assist gold if they lived, and his mana sustain is not really that bad, especially if you use clarity and start off with rod of the ages

He Q's minions to start to weaken them for the carry and once his Q is strong enough to kill minions in 1 shot, it's safe for him to start focusing on his own kills instead of the carry as well as being a bit more reckless

face of the mountain also has a lot of synergy with chogath (but I haven't used it yet)...kill the whole minion wave at once, then in 2:30, do it again XD

the carry will thank you for full healing them and giving them 100 gold while they can focus the enemies, especially if you hit the enemies with your crowd control in the process of taking out minions

I play cho a LOT and he fits anywhere. So im playing him bot supp Time to time abd hes very strong after level 6 and rod of ages his mana costs and 6 stacks are gone. Hes a squishy early gamer but a insabe good mid and late gamer. Due to his passive he can stay in lane almost as long as someone like Tryndamere. I really like him and his ult does a hell of damage even to champs.
