I would also like to say that this phase will likely pass as Riot will release items for Mages that Assassins (Akali Fizz Ekko) will abuse.

well tank teemo was a thing i abused in season 3 alot lol. spam laugh, piss ppl off, ppl focus you ;D but you are tanky.

and dont worry in 6.9 they nerf iceporn gauntlet. from 125% bonsu dmg to 100%. yea... wont do jack shit

It is the high base damage and hyper mobility on very reliable kits these assassins have

to make it worse they often provide too much easymode via point & click or they got too much cc or they got too much utility or theya re ekko and have too much of everything

Riot should gut base damages on these assassins except for their earlygame base damage, give them the scaling to compensate so they can do roughly the same damage they do now with an assassin build. problem fixed its really simple, yes they will be more feast or famine, but a champion who is incredibly safe and capable of snowballing extremely hard with a kit which basically does dash dash boom oneshot is not healthy by default

I believe the meta right now is tanky damage dealers and that can be seen with all the frozen mallet and sunfire capes being built on no mater what champion and the ones who abuse it most are te assassins and don't have much cc but can stick to you without items. The only problem with assassins is they die quickly and get bursted dead if not played right, but all the tank stats that are given by the other items just destroy them. They tend to have a higher mobility so it is harder to hit them and then they can also tank the damage from almost any cc combo and since fiora is out of the meta, they can run rampad and no one can stop them easily, and if they see a vayne or fiora, they can just build full damage until they can't get back in the game and win before they become relevant.

"AD"-Tank Fizz has been a thing since the very beginning. Heimer is a champion built for that kind of gameplay. Teemo is supposed to build some durability to be viable. Pure AP Squishy Teemo is playing him improperly, most of the time (AP if fed he can snowball). Again, Tank Ekko has existed and seems to be the only legit way to play him at a higher level.
