Question for Zyra Players

Hey, guys.

So, I recently heard that Rylai's Crystal Scepter was being nerfed. The new stats are as follows, according to surrenderat20.net:

Total cost lowered to 2600g from 3200g
Recipe now: Blasting Wand + Amp Tome + Ruby Crystal + gold.
Stats & Effect :
"+300 Health
+75 Ability Power
UNIQUE Passive: Damaging spells and abilities reduce enemy movement speed by 20% for 1 second."
Stat changes vs live: [-100 HP][-25 AP][Passive change]

Do you think that Rylai's will still be a core item for Zyra after this hit to the item? If not, what do you think will replace it?

I don't know where you've been, but that's nonexistent now, haha. It also doesn't make up for the utility that was given with Rylai's.

Why wouldn't it be? It gives less stats but it's a lot cheaper and she didn't lose anything because her plants gave a 20% slow already

Also Liandries is getting a 100g cost reduction too so

Oh, that's right. I forget it wasn't the 40% to begin with. That's good to know.

Do you think it'd be better to rush Rylai's on Zyra now as opposed to Liandry's?

I played zyra mid a lot and I always got rylais before liandries, I always went morello -> rylais -> liandries

with the magic pen in your rune page + masteries + sorc boots you should have 28 magic pen which is more than enough early on so liandries isn't necessary as a second item rush in my opinion

Unless there aee two or more champions stacking health i avoid liqndries. Sure its nice to pad numbers but it was largely ineffective at its task. As for rylais I'll probably use it as a situational pick if i absolutely need the slow I'll grab it but otherwise I'll go with roa, more hp and ap.

I haven't ever thought of trying RoA on Zyra before. Maybe I'll try that as a first non-support item! Thank you! :D
