What I wish Riot would do for the sake of this game's Healthy-ness

The Marksman changes were ideal (coming from a Varus main) and they were well deserved after the Crit meta that existed before. Now marksman require more than one item to scale and deal damage, and that same should be the same for every other class but it's not. Tanks need (Sunfire Cape), Mages need (Ludens Echo), Assassin's need (Duskblade) and so on...

But now Riot is trying to slowly buff them again, which isn't the right move and what this game really needs. Every other class needs the same treatment as in the same kind of nerf that Marksman have received, to lower the games overall damage. If this proves to make Tanks dominant, then they could nerf tanks individually.

  • Remember when One Shot-ing someone was actually rare?
  • How True Damage was uncommon and not accessible to everyone?
  • And how certain champions (Vayne, Fiora, Master Yi) were picked specifically against tanks because of their True Damage?

Someone (on a different post) has said that...

"These Marksman changes might make them seem weak but in reality it's just every other role is just too strong and unbalanced."

And I can't agree more. I mean look at this example of a moment when a Support was able to 100 to 0 a Marksman by himself.

I am aware that Rakan...

  • Was 1 level ahead.
  • Had Red Buff.
  • Had 120 AP.

That shouldn't be the excuse for a Support to be able to do that at early levels.

Something that always came to mind is why do some champion classes have unrealistic stats...

  • Assassin's who are suppose to fill the "High Risk, High Reward" criteria are still somewhat tankier than Marksman (higher Base Armor and higher Base Magic Resistance).
  • Certain Fighter champions that have a higher base Attack Damage than Assassin's.

###Do you agree that other champion classes need to receive some form of nerfs to make this game's damage healthier?

That shouldn't be the excuse for a Support to be able to do that at early levels.

When an Ezreal with just a Frozen Fist and a Tear walks into a higher level, double-buff support with 120 AP and an active shield at the start of the fight, this should absolutely happen. Ezreal has built very little damage and very little effective defense vs. Rakan, and walked into him when he had a fairly significant shield active and two buffs ticking. If Rakan didn't win something would be wrong here, given that he's precisely set up for his optimal situation and Ezreal hasn't built towards the early game at all.

I don’t think early or mid game classes should have similar spikes to late game carries.

If that’s what you’re implying anyway.

one shotting was rare?

naa mate. every mid lane champion assassin could 1-shot with or without a dfg, and mid lane played assassins almost to exclusion, and also Rengar was the single most common jungler with a 0.1s 100%-to-dead "quad-Q" combo.
