Key Fragments on Champs You Don't Own

Note: There's currently a bug which prevents you from earning key fragments if you're playing a champion you don't own. This is unintended, and we're working on a solution.

Is this a permanent bug they dont intend to fix? I've never received a key fragment on champs I dont own via free to play for the period champs in ARAM or norms. This alt acct just has 22 champs so its a very high chance that I'm using a champ I dont own in ARAM, yet despite all the wins on them I've always received the message ineligible for rewards on champs I dont own.

Did they change their mind on this for key frags without announcing it, or just have that note there to give us false hopes that they'll "fix it"?

Basically it wasn't enough to put a cap on chests, so they had to make sure to limit keys enough you can't reach the already existing cap on free chests...

Honestly it seems like having extra keys would just make people buy chests, I don't understand why we can't get keys easier.

well, farming chests is much easier than farming keys if you have a premade

Obtaining chests only on champs you own is fine, but this key permanent "bug" isnt

It was a bug told by riot that they'll fix. 1 fucking year has passed since then Riot = incompetent company, lying 24/7 , Hypocrites ,contradicting themselves over and over , Favoring champions ( I hope the entire LC$ arena stadium will leave in crowds when they'll see LeeSin picked over and over) Congratz selling yourself to tencent. Even yordles need 4 fingers now instead of 5 because of China's dumb communist laws. soon even blood will be removed? Because god forbid blood is a common thing, its strictly forbidden to see it

You're on the right path , destroying your game slowly, just keep that path . I'll thank Ghostcrawler for that later

And yeah don't expect this bug to be fixed anytime soon. They're busy with LC$ and plans to buff Lee win to compensate his "R nerf"

One last thing : wonder why LeeSin ward hoping was a thing ? It was a bug, but riot let it pass because it made LC$ Da$hy Play$$$

They know about this "bug" so it doesnt need to be reporting. We need to let them know it should be a priority with this long in and yet to be "fixed"

Tribunal has been coming soon for I think over 3 years. This spring might be 4 years since it was announced to be coming soon. Still no tribunal though... Looking like they are taking the same path with this key "bug"..

Yeah I don't think it's a bug, they intend for it to be that way. It should be a bug and maybe they'll call it one for the sake of false hope, but that doesn't make it a bug.
