With new Camo & Invis Changes

Shouldn't we get full true sight in our base? Or at minimum the inner zone past the inhib line

It is our last bastion of defense before going down and we should have some additional security especially since pinks no longer reveal invisibility.

Also if we have an open inhib or even an open nexus with no turret nearby, how would you exactly stop a backdoor from someone having invisibility or even camo? You wouldn't even know until they're literally attacking it and control warding your base just to have a warning against camo is super lame

I believe Control Wards handle camouflage similarly to Pink Wards with Invisibility before.

And most Invisibility type champions can't make the distance to your base with invisibility alone.

Talon can ult and make it to the nexus from outside the base in time. Shaco can as well Teemo could just sit in your base invisible forever waiting until people leave to backdoor or hold them as prisoners in their own base

This on top of champs who have major advantages going invis mid fight now with no counters, the losing side could use a bit of help to swing the odds when defending

Assuming you guys are so far back that Shaco or Talon could just walk through your Jungle and go invis just at your doorstep, it sounds like you're more ways than fucked already...

That Teemo example is just silly. If the Teemo's smart, you weren't going to find him with Pink Wards anyway.

New talon can hop walls and can come from any direction now. When a team is behind they dont exactly have all the wards where ever they want with full jungle coverage

Cool so we're dropping the Shaco and silly Teemo argument.

And to restate, it sounds like you guys are more ways than fucked already if it's already that bad.

But champs like Kha'zix, Shaco and Vayne have invis that is core to their combos and teamfighting.

Khazix Uses it to chain passive procs. Shaco Uses it to flank and backstab. Vayne It's essentially one of the only reasons she survives teamfights.

Wouldn't it be uninteractive to punish these champions for winning? If you had true sight in your base, then you could just never leave your base late game and the other players would punished for playing a champion. I understand punishing picks with counterpicks/counterplay. But just punishing a pick across the board because you don't know how to play around invisibility seems a little dramatic.

Maybe have it so that you are granted true sight of units entering your base for a short duration (1 secs), but once they are inside they can hide. Wouldn't really impact team fighting but would give you a brief warning of stealth backdoorimg provided you are map aware.

Or maybe, just permanently make invis champs in your base shimmer (like they do when they take damage). That way you know around where they are without them being targetable.

If you have an open nexus I think invisibility is a lesser concern

I've won games with open nexus before, although one time it took a 50 minute ace after 20 mins of turtle...

Those games are the best. One time we were about to lose but the enemy was BM'ing. Our Teemo came up and he was like 0/8/2. Sucked ass all game. But, somehow, that little Yordle aced the entire enemy team in a glorious 1v4 before dying to minions. We won that game. Not after that fight, but several fights later.

Just goes to show-- always end a game when you can.
