this fucking item has never saved anyones life because of the requirements it takes to work. You have to legitimately TRY to proc it because of how ridiculous the conditions you have to be under are
who is this item supposed to be for anyway? Bruisers and tanks obviously build some MR/AR, so was this item made for people who build 8 warmogs and eiixar of iron?

The problem is that Maw is still infinitely better as long as they have even one AP source; you get more AD and a ton of sustain for as long as you keep fighting. Sterak's AD bonus only lasts for 8 seconds, so in extended teamfights it fails pretty hard.

antonsoe1 votesDude u all r wrong about this item.steraks gage is a strong item and u dont use it on tanks (that would be stupid)instead use it on squishy champs to avoid getting one shotted (the lifegrip give shield if u took a massive amount of dmg within 5 seconds)and it now give 50%dmg Useful on assassins like nocturne,yi,ww,xhin,etc (those who use aa) and against assassins like zed(but it aint so useful to use on zed and other burst champs Hope this helps and i know this comment is old this is for others who wants to know Gd luck:)
