Why does Nasus W slow attack speed?

Can this be actually removed? I want a fair duel against an unfair champion, why the heck does this champion slow my attack speed making me automatically lose the duel by default?

This champion needs to have a WEAK early game, the runes literally compensate for it. Nasus has like one of the top best late game with insane splitpush potential.

I just want it to last only 3 seconds instead of 5.

I just want it to slow attack speed by 20% instead of half of the actual movement speed slow.
