Riot balance team you said ivern needs buffs then you nerf him. Why should I believe you?

Why should I believe that you're telling the truth when in 7.24 you buff him and then in 7.25 you nerf him? Sorcery is his highest rune pick, unless you're planning on giving him 3 extra damage across the board, the 5 ap is a nerf. you're also nerfing shield items. He always takes either censor or redemption if not both. this is at least a 2% nerf to his shield, when you already admitted his shields are already weak and buffed that as one of the first things you did this preseason.

I understand sorcery is overtuned, sure. makes sense. DOn't understand how its possible for support items that buff shields to be overtuned since the damage is insanely high and all you did by nerfing that was make the damage even worse.

I know literally everyone at Riot will ignore this and the forum mods are merely enforcing the rules while pretending that you will read them when everyone knows you won't. I also know you cater to teenagers and you don't care about Ivern, you care about Yasuo or Jhin or Vayne and other edgelord champions because 14 year olds like to play them and buy their skins. Ivern doesn't cater to that crowd, so of course nobody at Riot has the slightest bit of interest in his balance or releasing skins for him or fixing his Rootcaller bug that's been around forever. It's all about money, right?

Maybe nerfing Sorcery and Shielding items because they are overpowered shouldn't be stopped because Ivern is weak.

You probably understand very little about how riots system works and are really just looking for reasons to complain to be honest, but lets discuss this anyways.

First and foremost, yes, he did receive some nice early game buffs this patch and he is going to receive some nerfs to his itemisation next patch, but that is because all of those items are overtuned on most enchanters as well as the fact that sorcery is overtuned as well. These things will together nerf ivern down and make him slightly weaker in general, but obviously you haven't really tried anything else on ivern yet. There are many builds for ivern that dont rely on sorcery at all and he doesn't end up losing much by taking those builds alternatively, in a matter of fact on most sources I've checked so far his most frequent runes are within the resolve tree rather than in the sorcery tree, his highest winrate pages are within sorcery though and that is a valid fact, but that just goes to show that its not required on ivern, but simply overtuned on him as well (using champion.gg as my source in this case but most other sites show the same trends at least for higher elo where this is more important.) If you are really worried about these changes, I recommend trying some new rune setups and trying out some new itemisation and getting a feel for some other possible builds on him. One rune setup I've been getting some people in higher elo to test out for me is Pred>Cheapshot>GhostPoro>Ingenius into CelestialBody>FuturesMarket, they told me that this build very very good on him for many reason but i wont get into those here, but obviously this build doesn't suit everyone's taste. Anyways if ivern really suffers from these changes then riot will certainly take a look at him and see what the underlying issue is specifically for him and what they can do about it.

If you really wanted a rioter to read this, you would go out of your way to show it to them if you truly cared enough about this issue rather than using it as an outlet to complain. I personally wanted rioters to look at my post so what I did was join one of riots official discord servers, ask to talk to one of them, and then I simply forced my post into their faces (of course, in a very civilised and professional matter) but if you really did any research into that you wouldn't have this issue. I know for a fact that many rioters go through and read everything posted on these forums but most of them don't have time to leave a comment because... like i mean look at how many posts they have to read through from people like you while at the same time working on the jobs and lives they have. worse comes to worse, they have 'Advisers' who will look and comment on these posts on their behalf to give you their 2cents on the given issues. Anyways i wont discuss the rest of your post as it is just immature whining about a system you dont have a single clue about.

Yes, this reply was a little rude, but take a second and think about what you said in your post and how rude it was to the potential rioters or advisers who would have read this and considered commenting on it.
