It's not like they sacrifice themselves for the greater good; it's probably just their favorite role to play. And it's not like all supports are nice either. Some like to blame the ADC for everything, while in some cases, it can be the support's fault. I agree that many adc's are toxic, but as soon as an adc tries to help or suggest something nicely, they instantly get marked as flaming the support. And if a fight is lost, the adc is often blamed.
I'm not trying to take away from the nice support players, which there are a lot of, but don't act like all supports are holy.

I started out prefering mid or top, got put in support most of the time previously before the team builder queue..... so I normally took whatever was left as long as it was not adc. Still suck as adc but Support is now my main role and I pick it because i enjoy it more. Its kinda halarious being ultied by warwicks etc 24/7 because they know if the support dies, everyone else will fall.
And thank you to all the Support mains out there besides myself, and thank you to those that are willing to fill in our shoes when we can not be around.
Also, your welcome for CCing the hell out of the enemy team so you can pentakill B-)
DeathBurst1 votesWe may play Support because we enjoy that, it's still frustrating to see all the recognition going to other people when you did as much if not more work than them. The role may be fun in itself, but it's not rewarding, and it's good to see that some people appreciate it.

However, on the flipside, on the boards supps get by far the most recognition of all roles. Guess it balances out, but I'd prefer it if they got more recognition in game and a little less on the boards. It seems a little exaggerated on the boards like people are just fishing for upvotes as they know people will upvote threads praising supports. Not saying that's the case in this thread, but it certainly is in some.

CritterZoid2 votesI like/hate supporting, sometimes i love supporting, it's my secondary role i tend to do whenever i don't feel like getting kills. My two mains for supporting are Taric and Bard (pls no hate). I've met good and bad adcs sometimes i can carry other times i'm not so lucky.. To me support is a really fun role where i can be almost as agro as a want as long as i can keep my ADC alive.
