Can I ask why the secondary runes are still dumb?

Come on man. Someone at riot has to be like "This is Frustrating af".

If I click on rune A, where it is already set. Decide I want to change to rune B. But rune B was in a new row. Rune B will shove out or shove up the other rune.

Its annoying for a few reasons.

1: Why? I literally just found out about this being like this. I literally assumed it was broken at the beginning of the season, cause you know. New and everything. But this just feels bad.

2: If you are in a rush to do your runes, to run to the restroom or grab some water before the beginning of the match. Unless you are 100% aware of that system. You'll end up bringing Ultimate hat on Ryze with scorch. -_- (P.S. Ultimate hat on Ryze is useless. Now that Zhonya's interaction is gone)

3: The system just makes no sense.

It's gotten to the point where for me it is just muscle memory to select both my runes again any time I want to change one, and that is only because I set up my runes every game instead of using pre-made pages.

Yeah almost halfway through the season and I still sometimes misclick and switch out a secondary rune I wasn’t suppose to.

Yeah, the click doesn't register separately for the runes, just opens the tab that lets you cycle them. Annoying.

I quit playing for 3 of those months. So I spent 3 months with them, but I had preset rune pages. I just swapped to only using on rune page. It just feels better, and keeps you aware of what you are running.

One of the Reds said it was intentional a few months back, not a bug. They did not say why they made it that way, and to this day I have failed to come up with a single possible benefit to the system working this way, as opposed to selecting Secondaries the same way we do Primary runes.

If it's intentional then the devs who worked on runes are fucking daft as hell

Like how can you possibly think clicking on the bottom secondary rune to replace it and then the top one gets replaced makes any amount of sense??? It's an unnecessary click that any amount of competent programming can fix. With that and the dumb glitch that keeps the game from selecting the correct page this client feels like a walking train of bugs.

Fuck I was even suffering all kinds of fps issues once they started loading all kinds of videos and shit onto the client and suddenly the game started working when I made the game close the client on launch in the settings. This client is a giant resource hog with no functionality and 1000 different glitches. DotA and HotS are less demanding on my PC when they're loading all kinds of 3D assets... Riot's client is utter garbage, and even if you focus on one element such as runes it reeks of laziness.

It seems there was a change to how it was previously.

Before if you picked your second rune choice to be a third row rune and then wanted to change it to a second row, it would always change your first rune choice no matter what. You would have to reselect the first choice first, and then you'd be allowed to change the second rune.

I'm perfectly fine with this being fixed with the side effect of the runes swapping positions.

Yes, it's incredibly stupid that if you click on the second secondary-rune and pick something new, it will push out the FIRST one instead of the one you selected. It makes absolutely no sense and it's astounding that they haven't fixed it yet or that it's even there in the first place.
