Disable mastery icon in game? - Spammed for 28 minutes straight

I just played in a game where I had a Teemo who spammed level 7 mastery all game long. Must have been on a script because literally it did not stop for the entire 28 minutes. I think this is slightly more distracting than the taunts/laughs as it does a crazy sound overlay that drowns out other in game sounds and hides minion health bars. This should probably be capped to avoid what just happened to me in game. Very annoying and tilting I agree its cool to show off but to spam all game long really took away from my enjoyment of the game as a whole.

Maybe just remove the "crazy sound overlay", I mean it is cool to have them but it must be frustrating.

You could also link it to a spell you commonly use

A cap, cool-down, time restriction, or being removed when you mute that players are all valid choices. Hopefully Riot picks one.
