If you are not Challenger...

...then you are not challenger, and are not playing against people who are challenger. Pure And Simple. Don't copy a build off of some website or Youtube and expect it to work perfectly in Bronze. 9 times out of 10 it won't. Pro ADCs build IEdge first. Good idea, and a good start - normally. If you have an opposing MF or Tristana running your lane down your throat, you may just want some faster damage to fight back or you'll just get run over. Either that or hope you have a good support who can keep them off of you while you farm, or you'll never get enough currency for that pro build. Same goes for any other lane - just YOU don't have a support to back you up. GG.

Play smart and adapt, people.Your first item is supposed to be item 3165 but you're getting stomped by the opposing Annie early? MAYBE you should build, I dunno, some MR, or God forbid, something that reduces or stops you from being stunned? item 3140 anyone? And stop getting on people's cases for building 'off-meta'. Just cause Faker does it doesn't mean it'll work for you. Trust me, you aren't Faker. Or if you actually ARE Faker, disregard this post, it isn't for your tier of play anyhow.

PSA: Don't ever rush a QSS as your first item mid lane.

I don't get it why is a hardstuck bronze player trying to give advice to anyone?

ranks don't = to intelligence in this game. A player could be very knowledgeable about many things but either not play ranked or not have good enough mechanical skills.

Playing smart is what challengers do, and your telling people to be smart. So, play like a challenger?

Lol. Yes and no. I'm just saying to try to be adaptive to your situation and the champ you're playing versus sticking to what Faker builds on Cass because HE'S OP.

If you have ever gotten to d5, from my experience, people just don't build tank items as a fighter (or skirmisher, or w/e subclass you want to call them). I've seen so many jax players go full damage when they are 0/4 or worse in lane. Qss is only really good to buy in the mid-late game. If you buy it in the early game, you will just be out stat checked. Hexdrinker or banshees or seekers (zhonya in certain cases like zed I think) are much better items at mid lane for this. Also, the problem with going for faster damage as an adc is that you need to have the multiplicative damage for mid-late game. If you go blade on trist, you won't be as strong in mid game as if you are build ie/shiv. The same goes if you build BT as a first item.

That's exactly what I mean in a nutshell. You need to know your champs and where you can swap things out in your build to adapt to the situation you're in, against the person you're against. If you have an over-aggro MF in D5, odds are you react to that differently than you would in B5.

And just FYI, every ranked season so far (and I've only been around since the end of S5, so 1) I've just played my promos and then been content to sit back and play ARAMs or Normals. I'm a 38 yr old autistic invalid who really can't do much physically - heck, my left hand only has 4 out of 5 working digits (my pinky and half of my ring finger are basically paralyzed due to nerve damage) but I can still get three fingers for QWE, and move for the rest. I KNOW I'll most likely not be challenger tier, ever. I'm playing because I enjoy the game, and enjoy the challenge. So you're justified in asking how I can give advice.

It's this simple - I've got 293 Mastery on my champion pool. 4 M6, 3 M5, and the rest are 4 or lower (obv).

What does that have to do with anything?

It means I've played just about every champion and know what they're capable of and can use them well enough to fill (most of the time).

single builds wont work on most adcs, every game is different and you have to build based on what your against. but people dont realize tat a lot have this thought that " oh plats/diamonds. chall use this build ill always win!... no .. no u wont.. ull lose most of the time

adcs need multiplicative stats (crit) to function properly. This only changes on champs like mf/varus/kog/etc. On every other role, it can work, but people sadly try to follow core builds too often. The smarter players will usually build more defensively vs a high burst lane or when behind.
