Support starting items

I understand the changes to the support starting items {AKA gold gen items) were to stop other people in other roles from using them, but you also made it a lot harder for some supports to use them effectively as well. How? Now you can't start with a support item and a refillable potion. Some supports early on want the mana from item 2033 more than the heal, and you took that away.

This is mostly important on occasion for supports like AP tanks that build health primarily. Start with item 3302 item 2031 and first back get item 3097 item 2033 so you can regen some mana. item 3301 doesn't give you any health until you finish it to tier 3 item 3069 (although you do get health regen at tier 2), and it's the same with item 3092 . For a support tank to lane against ANY caster support they need to use their abilities more often, and this means a lot of mana needs. Clarity is gone, mana potions are gone, and now you can't even start with a refillable potion to get to the Corrupting.

And before anyone says it, yes, I know you can build 'off-path' and get something like item 3010 first back instead, but that tends to get you called a troll or whatever for 'not building support'.

Things like this are why tanks are having a hard time currently - excessive damage from enemies and limited resources to respond on a slow tank versus a mobile assassin means you're going to die. A lot.

Why is it whenever changes get made they're 'tunnel vision changes' - you change something because X is broken, but it also negatively impacts Q indirectly but you don't notice? Because Pro play sees a lot of Tahm he needs what is effectively a nerf unless he gets more aggressive than a support should be? Are you actively trying to push tank supports out?

every change made on supports shows how little they actually care about that role. If they are struggling they always buff the most uninteractive parts. And as soon as something is remotely good it gets nerfed into the ground or removed completely. And when supports are good it´s not because they added an interesting mechanic to that role, but because they made an item op

item 3504 for example, which is as statchecky as it can get

reducing build diversity across the board, nerfing and reworking starting items over and over, removing actives, quests, sightstone(s) and fucking with vision just to accommodate for the needs of other roles.

It´s like they know that no one wants to play that role and they basically have to force people to play it, so they don´t even try anymore to make that role more appealing.
