Medical player leave?

So here's the issue:

I have spinal stenosis, and recently have lost all feeling in my ring and pinky fingers on my left hand (goodbye q and w). There is a very good chance that I won't get feeling back in those fingers due to nerve damage. Am I allowed to sell my account to recoop the $$ I have put into it? Is there a proper way to do it so that the new person doesn't get banned, etc.?

I've got all of 4 wins in ranked, and being Bronze 2, I don't think it'd count as boosting, per se, but I know Riot tends to look down on this sort of thing...but where I am most likely going to be physically unable to play anymore...

Thoughts other than 'sucks to be you' (because currently it really does)? Rioter feedback appreciated.

No way to sell the account, but you could keep playing.

Nothing says you have to use 'Q' and 'W' for your first and second spells. You could rebind them to another button on your keyboard or bind them to buttons on your mouse. That's what I'd do if I was in your shoes.

I don't think any kind of account sale is allowed regardless of the reason.

Have you considered getting a mouse with more buttons and trying to adapt to your situation and have like your Q and W bound to side mouse buttons?

you can't trust account buyers not to get the account banned

your best bet is to sell some unwanted items in your home then return to league when ur spine is fixed

I'm definitely sorry to hear that, though if the loss of sensation is a recent symptom and you are treating with a qualified orthopedic or neurosurgeon, perhaps they will be able to help you out. My last job was actually scheduling the spinal injections and surgeries for an orthopedic spine surgeon and a neurosurgeon. Depending on how soon you get treatment for it, it's quite possible that you can regain the feeling in those fingers. If you haven't considered any cervical selective nerve root injections, you might want to look them up and see if it is something you would want to discuss with your doctor. They can help decrease inflammation and swelling around the nerves as they exit the neck, and buy you a bit more time before you would have to progress to a surgical intervention.

As to your account, unfortunately, no there is no proper way to sell it. It would come under the category of account sharing, and would likely end up being banned at a later date as soon as it was caught by the system. While it would be nice to be able to get a bit of a return on some of the money invested, it's not something that Riot has a mechanism in place for. You can always leave the account inactive, and come back to it if something changes in your medical condition.

I'm sure you can find an alternative way to play the game. If this guy https://www.twitch.tv/nohandsken can play games while being a quadriplegic, you can alter your control scheme to get around your medical problems.

Sorry for your condition but selling your account is against Riot TOS.

Riot owns your account, therefore you're not allowed to sell it.

use your left hand for your mouse and remap your keys to your right hand.
