His win rate plummeted for the chance of landing one empowered q... But the % bonus on q isn't that noticeable mid/ late game... Hence those W changes should be reverted or increase his W to be slightly better than it is now.
Otherwise, they should further increase his q.

Then could you, at least, agree that they should buff something? Because there is, literally, no reason to Varus right now. Like, the only argument you could make is for his utility and Ashe easily outclassed him there with a better passive, better range, better scaling, and a spammable volley.
So, as it stands;
His poke is outclassed

His mage-like combos are outclassed

His utlity and range are also outclassed
