About that Galio Re-work

a Rioter long time ago said, they were going to give him his MR -> AP (passive) to his skills, and giving him a new passive. when is that going to happen? Galio needs some attetion. :'(

Priorities.

Basically, there are bigger offenders.

The big reworks are saved for problem champions. Poppy, Taric, Yorick etc. Champions that not only have kits that are as incohesive as Galio's but have a fundamentally flawed design. Galio would have to wait for this one.

Galio probably needs a little bit more than the recent Ashe change. He also needs a VU. This means that he can't be slotted in when the ChampUp team has a month spare.

Other champions could arguably get more out of a Galio sized rework. Champions who already have a somewhat cohesive kit with a clear theme could be easier to work with and a higher quality product could be ensured.

On a different note... I am actually not sure why a Galio player would want a rework. While Riot would try to keep his theme his kit is so outdated that virtually everything would need a moderate change. While the champion would still be Galio the kit would be incredibly different.

Stop asking for reworks for champions you don't play. Some people (myself included) actually enjoy playing this champion as he is. The people that play Galio don't want a Galio rework.

"it's not going to be a full-blown rework, but i do want to give him a new passive (while putting magic resist scaling directly into his kit) and then shift a few things around. i really want to get some changes on the pbe shortly after 3.11 goes live (i.e., when the pbe starts testing 3.12 content). once that happens, i'll be really excited to hear from everyone about how he feels." -- ricklessabandon, qa analyst 08-22-2013
