Tbh that's the only thing that I dislike about his rework. The bird he would turn into was pretty cool and now he's just the same dude but he gets some wings.

I can feel why people miss the visuals on the old ult. If the old one was updated with the new visuals could have been pretty impressive as an aesthetic.
However, the new ult is also miles ahead of the old one. It has more impact when it's turned on and the drain effect is immediate. In the videos we see him kill one person with the explosion and nearly kill a second as they try to escape.
Yeah lame I just got swain not realizing they were gonna change all this stuff his ult was the reason I got him
He still does it with his Tyrant skin, much to my relief. In all other forms he just gets wings and glory eyes, but with Tyrant Swain he grows feathers and a raven head.

Some reworks feels like the “movie adaptation” version of the character.
It has the same feeling of “Hmm. That’s interesting. I don’t hate it. I’ll just get used to it.”
Sometimes it can be hit or miss. Sometimes we get Ryan Reynalds as Deadpool. Sometimes we get Halle Berry as Catwoman.

I am just as sad and mad about the loss of the glorious birdman Swain, but this section of the Boards is not the correct place for discussing the new Swain. Concepts & Creations is for discussing your personal fan made content. If you would like to discuss the new Swain, there a few better locations to do so.
If you want to talk about his new kit, post in Gameplay.
If you want to discuss his new artstyle and ingame model, you may post in Story, Art, & Sound but please note that we expect threads there to be well thought out and contain quality information that leads to good discussion.
If you want to just discuss Swain as a whole or complain, the best place to do so would be General Discussion. A recreation of this thread as it is would belong in GD.
