typing and skills

well today i was winning my lane for once with my newly bought ori and i just got ganked by skarner dodged everything except his ult and so i was typing skarner no ult then i suddenly get ulted by my lone opponent zed so i panic and use my skills with my mouse and tada cant use skills or type anymore wtf riot got killed by that so please fix that when ur typing is blocking ur skills and u go with the mouse that u can insta use ur skills with ur letters again
