Now this is a serious thread. I have no idea how to play against chogath in the top lane. even when i play Jax. my fucking main. that has the highest winrate against chogath. I get fucking rekt. I can't dodge his Q. here is the main problem with me against chogath. when i move. he telegraphs where am going and he Qs between the space am moving to and where i am. now if you think a little bit. that makes it quite impossible for me to dodge it without mobility.

i've played this match up. so many fucking times. and it just always seems that i lose to chogath no matter who i play early game and often he snowballs and destroys the rest of my team and its my fault. i dont know how to play against this champion. i go farm minions he obviously knows where am going. Qs the area. i get knocked up because its one of the hardest skillshots for me to dodge personally. and then he silences me. bye bye half my health. i just can't out trade and outsustain him. and once he gets his ultimate i can't really fight him before getting a tank item.

this is a question thread don't downvote me. I mean i find it much easier to beat darius in lane. I can't lane against chogath to save my life.

Cho'gath scales really well, so it's important not to give him a lead early on; it's better to play champs who can bully him and that deal well with tanks, like Gnar or Trundle. Gnar shits on tanks with his kiting capability and %hp damage, whereas Trundle can simply ult him and turn Cho into an easy meal, while also being a big bully early on.

As for gameplay, I like to try and bait out a q or his w, which I can then punish because he doesn't have much else.. early ganks from your jungler will also help you keep him on a leash.

I don't think Jax is the best pick against cho for early game, but you can definitely kick his ass if you manage to catch him while his q and w are on cd. Building a item 3153 also helps chase/kill his tanky ass.

Jax should be able to stomp Cho at all stages of the game, he is my usual go to pick against Cho. You have a 700 range gap closer, if he Qs randomly you should just be able to jump onto him and activate your E midair. Jax's E gives him 25% reduction against AOE damage which literally translates to a 25% damage reduction against Cho's Q, W and E. I would rush a Phage and then focus on building and completing a BOTRK perhaps with an early Merc Treads to help you walk out of Cho's abilities and reduce his damage and CC. The advantages that Cho has against Jax are his high natural health which helps against Jax's mixed damage, his CC combo which can lock down Jax before he can rev up, and his true damage ult that ignores Jax's ult resistances. Stack your passive and make him use his mana to CS in tower if you are really having problems fighting him
