As someone who builds Rylai's often, I'm glad I won't have to have 1,000 gold to buy the belt in one chunk anymore!

Kudos to Riot on the one good change amidst a series of ridiculously biased guttings of random champions (mostly mages.) This is something that was actually reasonable. :)

This allows tanks to start ruby crystal in lane, and that's HUGE.

This also allows me to make my first back with Cho when I hit enough gold for a ruby, dorans and boots (RoA is for scrubs, double dorans + rylais is where it's at)

I often started ruby crystal before. For nasus it is great for preventing an all-in. And he has several items that build out of it (triforce, mogs, banshees/sv). Furthermore, if I build FH as my first item, that little extra health goes a long way towards complementing the FH.

I really like this change.

Especially for a lot of junglers/tanks that are struggling and need stats NOW instead of saving up 1000g. Its pretty hard to get that much gold in the bank as a jungler if you aren't getting a lot of successful ganks off.

The game is slowly shifting to Tanky DPS again with HP and MR/AR becoming even better than they were before again. Removing/nerfs to DFG was dumb. And the new void armor gives again too many opinions of a combined slot that offer MR and AR.
