adc kennen existes since 2012, same for jayce, it isn't new but disappeared because it sucked then.

I'm saying that they reworked Morde, who is a flexible champion, to play a limited role, when we already have champions who are flexible enough to play adcs.

Do you actually believe he's healthy bot? Solo lane was bad but had weak points. Duo lane is automatic win, leagues new #1 toxic. Have you not been playing Mord since his rework or at least watched worlds?

ADC mains didn't want Mord bot and Mord mains didn't want Mord bot.

Riot even admits they know how toxic and anti-fun Mord bot is for the enemy.

My statement was so simple I'm baffled that you are blind to what I actually said. I said they thought putting him bot would fix him, not me. I think he's far more cancerous than he ever was solo lane, but that doesn't change what Riot initially said was the reason for this half-assed rework.

I dont see him as being that toxic in lane. Some popular picks he could really be oppressive against, but there were plenty of viable tops who could beat him bad.

I'd chalk that up to players unwilling to play anything but meta picks, ironic because morde was never meta himself.

Not to mention if he was oppressive in lane, he naturally pushed lane HARD, and with no mobility or cc left him super vulnerable to ganks. Again blame poor jungle/mids for not abusing this.

IMO old morde was fine. You never saw him ruling top.

Edit: there were even more mids capable of dealing with him from sheer range alone

except you can easily put an ADC in another role to fill that gap. Varus, Corki, and Ez mid are all viable and Kindred can jungle fairly well.

To be fair, Kennen and Jayce didn't need that extra push Morde needed. ADC Kennen has existed for a while, and ADC Jayce was used as a long-ranged counter to the short-ranged Kennen, like how Cait has been used into Jinx.

Except they are being played as ADCs... which isn't off meta. ADC/Support has been nearly the only thing played in bot lane since season one, and that is extremely boring. Its nice to see something being played bot lane that isn't an ADC for once. Yeah he is overpowered, but its a step in the right direction to add at least a small bit of variety into what has been the most stale lane in the game for years.
