Thoughts on new Aatrox buff on PBED

ricklessabandon on today's Aatrox changes:

"new changes for aatrox on the pbe today. when he exits his passive's revive:

1) blood well fills to 100%

2) blood price/thirst won't reset"

This is all well and good. But once again Riot is doing everything they can to adjust Aatrox without realizing or admitting that his new passive still sucks and destroys his identity and worsens his problems, as I have clearly outlined in several posts (aka rants for all of you Riot fanboys who like to shoot all criticism down).

So they buff his W damage, reduce CD on Q, give higher starting health...and now they do this, which is nice change and probably would have made Aatrox strong had they done it 2 years ago or a 1 year ago with the old Aatrox--reviving with his full bonus Attack Speed as old Aatrox would have had a huge impact on his strength. In fact, it might have made him OP. So by doing this Riot has basically made it impossible to mess with this passive....with new Aatrox now if it was easy to sustain or stack to Blood Rush, it becomes too strong.

The only way to make him viable now is for Riot to keep buffing his stats. By the time he has a consistent win rate in above 50%, it will be because of all the other buffs with his passive and revive just an afterthought and no loner as integral to his game play as it used to be.

BTW, Ricklessabandon is a god damn coward. Never once responded to any criticism, or talked to us on the boards about our very justified complaints. Rickles why don't you sack the fuck up and talk to your frickin customers who are the very reason you even have a job.

There are people you can argue with, and then there are people who ignore any other opinion besides their's. Why would you attempt to talk with someone about something, when they obviously are never going to change their opinion?

Honestly if you're a person with high tolerance you would speak to the person to see WHY they think the way they do so you can understand their opinion better. The possibility to change opinions isn't 0% all the time regardless, including for oneself. I personally find that people I disagree with that do talk with me at length tend to fully flesh out where their opinion comes from and how it differs from my own. It ignores terms like wrong and right that limit discussion. People do deserve a voice after all.

If I'm reading that second change correctly, it basically fixed all his problems with the idea of building him tanky. The first change means building him with attack speed which now is fine, even better. I don't see the problem with these buffs. I think you should just say goodbye to old Aatrox.

The buffs are fine. But my point remains--to make him strong enough to be viable, they are just buffing stats. Any champ will be viable if you keep buffing stats...and eventually stats will over shadow the kit and play style, and the champion is basically destroyed as far as having any identity

I think all he needs now is his W's scaling changed to total AD because it's... not doing extra damage during blood rush. which is honestly just strange.

It's a good change. But I personally think extending the blood rush duration or reducing the quick decay or making his Q uninterruptible is for sure necessary (His Q doesn't have very much potential or reward/compensation if can be stopped by anything in the game).

Good change, but doesn't fix jungletrox.
