so how am i supposed to kill Lucian as an immobile fighter

so the enemy lucian comes top lane. he wards the tribush near the blue buff. the one between blue and top lane turret. i realize that and stand next to gromp out of the ward vision. as shyvanna. so he comes. on the other side of the wall I ult. look. he had no flash. he ults me. and because of the black cleaver ms increase. even with my fucking W as shyvanna. I can't out run him during the culling. the culling takes half my fucking health away. this is all with my w. every time i am in range to land a fucking auto. he dashes. every time. I can't do anything to harm him. but he can constantly dash at me auto me few times. and then when I go hit him dash out. what is this bullshit? hes the only fucking adc that does that crap. ezreal's E has much higher cooldown and his base MS is lower by 10

You don't need to kill him. If you have time to eat the culling and watch him run away from you then you have time to go do more important things than chase a clearly out of position adc around. Go do something that actually matters.

It called bring a bigger army, or find a binder. Honestly, the only thing you can do is stop him from moving, which alone, you cannot.

Some matchups are bad. That's just the nature of the game.

Killing Lucian isn't the only way to win. He's strong early and dips off later (but not excessively...just has a hard time shredding tanks still). Stay back and farm. If he pushes then call for your jungler to gank when there's an opportunity. As shyvanna, you will outscale him later. Don't play his game.

what his game? I was equally farmed. i wasn't behind. I was 7/2. he was 3/1, I literally couldn't have played that better. his mobility is far to excessive

Okay, I see the match in your history. You had a chain vest and you got that last. he had Lord dominick's, cleaver, and duskblade. He was probably doing close to true damage to you halfway through his ult. Yeah, he's going to win that fight unless you can stick to him. By yourself, you're not going to stick to him with your build...he (and many other mobile adcs now) will just kite you.

Maybe you should have gone deadman's and/or frozen mallet. Then it would be a skill matchup of if you can get your first hit on him or not. If so, you can stick and take him down. If not, he'll kite and mow you down.

But yes, that's generally not a good matchup for shyvanna. A different champ that can stick better probably would have been a better pick....or others on your team that could lock him down.

Not exactly. Stacking lots of armor would not be efficient as he would cut through a lot of it quickly, but one full armor item (preferable something with an AS debuff like Randuin's) goes a long way. Lord dominck's + that much flat pen eats through health quickly. Even an additional 50 armor (after all that pen) would give ~35% additional effective HP (before the AS debuff...which then limits his mobility too, and randuin's has the slow to help further + decrease crit and has HP too!). That's very efficient in this case and I can't think of any single HP item that would have done the same same for you. That said, I still like the deadman's idea to stack with your hydra plus give the slow you desperately needed...or randuin's.

Edit: It's closer to 25-30% effective health after checking the calculation. Still more effective than another HP item.

Yes. His winrate drops below 50% at around 28 minutes, and drops to ~46% by around the 35th minute.

Lucian counters everything. Those "nerfs" rito gave him didn't do anything. Those "nerfs" in the patch notes are just words. Nothing's changed about him and won't unless he's gutted

Play champs that are op, or don't complain to be rekt by op champs ? If you wanna have fun with bad champs, just level a smurf, because you can eventually compete with a bad champ if you're 1000 times better than your opponent playing an op tier. A bit rough, but really, that's how it is...
