REALTALK: Sunfire - Range

What is this???
I know, I know - Sunfire can be quite oppressive ~~and nnone want's to just drop dead because of near 6 Sunfire Twitch.. oh wait... ~~
...but for real... an Item that's mostly build on pretty large Champions with a DMG-Aura that barely surpasses the Champions-Hitbox looks and feels kinda pathetic! If I have to be carefull to get all raptors into the AoE that feels just bad!
And in Teamfights? Ok, you'll get the target you jump one (if you can jump) into the Aura - but besides that? Isn't the whole point of an AURA to be stronger in Teamfights???
Riot has clearly shown they're not interested in Auras in any way - they don't like them and either don't want/or are unable to balance them! But this just pathetic! If you hate it that much get rid of the Champion DMG completely and give us a nice cheap JGL/CS tool instead - but this way I feel like paying alot of Gold for nothing.
Note: I don't even consider that Item bad! It's strong and the Waveclear is good! But it just looks and feels so bad when hovering over the Range! x'D
Fix Suggestion:
Make Sunfires Range (300) count from the Champions edge instead from their center - Increasing the synergy with large Champs.
