Appreciation: I really enjoy having a Laning-Phase again! (8.10)

Intense 1v1, outsmarting outtrading and outfarming your opponent actually matters once more.

Sure ganks are still important and decide lanes but those require some decent setup from the laner or a clear mistake from the opoonent to be succesfull.

Game still has issues - but this JGL changes were A HUGE step into the right direction. Good move!

Sure Junglers won't like this at first and see their impact on the game shrinking. But to be honest from what I've seen so far, JGL still has alot of impact.

Although this impact no longer results from ganking the third time within the first five freaking minutes but from actively countering the opposing JGL by aggressive scouting, denying farm and vision.

BOTH Jungle and Solo-Lanes got alot more skill expression in this patch at least from my point of view and that's why I like it.

Jungle changes did exactly what we were promised they wouldn't do.

Murdered off meta picks; picking a jungler who doesn't have strong sustain, strong ganks, and strong early dueling is INCREDIBLY dangerous. I've been invaded at my second buff, by level 3 mid llaners, multiple times today.

Solidified meta picks: Olaf, Trundle, Warwick, and Xin were already strong picks; now they're even stronger.

Removed junglers advantage at all stages: Junglers now begin the game weaker than laners (effectively no items at level 1) and never catch up. Aside from IMMEDIATELY after killing your first buff, you are always behind laners in xp. You're also always behind in gold, unless you get crazy fed.

every jungler is going to red>gank soon and camp a lane even harder. its the only response to the changes that makes sense since both junglers cant pick shyvanna.

So far the jungle changes have been pretty bad, and it seems to be booting out a lot of junglers that can't 1v1 or don't have good gank potential. Great job by riot for killing off-meta picks. It used to be fun to play jungle and play around with different champs, but now there's just going to be a select few. That's going to make a lot of champs just generally nonviable in the whole game. If Kayn loses ANY jungle pressure, he's going to be a forgotten champ; same thing with Ivern and Kha'Zix and a lot of other champs that can't be played anywhere but the jungle.

I love the jungle changes. My teams feed a lot less now. Also, I have no problems jungling with these changes. You just have to adapt.

I actually love the changes, both as a midlaner AND a jungler. When I played nocturne jungle on the PBE I found I can start on my topside jungle blue, then take their raptors, red and krugs, then gets scuttle on my way back, happy in the knowledge they probably went their blue, gromp, scuttle, then headed for wolves. By the time the find out I've taken their red side jungle I already finished my own blue side, and got onto my raptors. They're too far away to contest my red, and are over a level down by the time i have finished my clear.

Invading early is the easiest counter to the scuttle priority people seem to be exhibiting. Sometimes you just have to think through your pathing and realise whats worth more: Raptors and red, or a scuttle.

i've played renekton jg a couple times since the patch and i still get to gank top with a level advantage at about 2:50 lol

finish my first 3 camps at around 2:30, then empowered w means pretty much instant scuttle kill
