So I've been playing a lot of adc lately, and I keep running into situations where the enemy jungle (yi) and - or - top (nas) keep rushing past my front line and either smashing me or forcing me from the fight. How the heck do i fight this strategy, or is it even my job? Please help me because I really don't see a way around it.
It is your team's job to peel. If it is a fed nasus or fed yi though just apply a generous amount of lube and prepare your anus

vs a yi and a team that refuses to peel for you it is MANDATORY to pick a safe adc with an escape or self peel or both such as

you really have no choice. you cant do anything against a fed yi with a immobile adc.
i highly reccomend trist or quinn against yi. trist has amazing escape and peel and quin has a good escape and a blind to actually duel yi if need be. people need to stop underestimating quinn. she is very good against melee carries and vayne. infact she is a carry killer in general
It's primarily your team's fault. Yi is immune to slows, but he is incredibly vulnerable to Hard CC. Either your teams aren't timing their CC correctly (i.e. they're using them as Yi uses Alpha Strike which has a similar mechanic to Twisted Advance), or they're not using them defensively at all.
There are very few Champions in the game, let alone AD Carries, who can deal with Master Yi by themselves - especially if there isn't a marginal gold disparity in their favour. Tristana and Vayne can self-peel against him quite well with their Knockbacks, Ezreal can outplay with his E after he's used Alpha Strike, and Quinn can Assassinate him with her Ultimate.
Well what adc are you using, some ADC's have no chance vs a master yi alone (ashe) others need to outplay (vayne)

Build a zhonyas, a guardian angel and a mercurial scimitar (fos nasus)
The boards will tell you Yi is allowed to 2 shot you because it's your team's job to peel. So if Yi flashes and Qs you're meant to die, sorry thats how riot balances.
Yi flash to you + alpha strike + auto = dead 
Should have mentioned I'm bronze 3 racing towards silver.
Yi and Nasus both excel at decimating ADC's, that's just their job. Just that one is much harder to peel and the other won't melt instantly if he gets focused.
You deal with them by not getting caught out. They rely on flanking so make sure you ward. Stay with your team and don't try to get in basic attack range until you see them get hit by some form of hard CC.
But other than that you just have to accept the fact that they were designed to remove you from play. Best thing to do is stay with at least 2 teammates and try to teamfight since they are both bad at teamfighting which is why they splitpush primarily.
Master Yi is very squishy and can be locked down by hard cc. Nasus doesn't have a lot of mobility and can be taken down if you get peel.
If your team lets master yi run by them, that is not your fault. But you just need to put yourself behind someone who can peel for you and you know will do so consistently.
Sit far back and let your support and top laner deal with that and try to do as much damage from afar.
