I'm a Poppy main (top), and I win or go even in lane. Yet aside from kills, I can't seem to influence the game. I am in silver v right now, with teammates who WILL LOSE team fights without me there, but never follow any victory up with an objective. How do I fix this?!?! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I play nasus. Farmed 700 stacks, built 4 defensive items and zz portal.
Enemy lucian was 11/1 and that didn't matter. Simply smashed towers and inhibitors, ignoring the enemy malphite, lee sin, soraka, and viktor while my entire team dealt with lucian.
I advise against playing a tank at all in silver unless you're support. Tank meta is dead at the moment. It's all AD hyper carry and ranged harass now.
Tanks require your team to be with you and you aren't always going to get that.
They'll die alone and blame you, you initiate and die and they just watch. Long ago, I swore never to play tanks in ranked again because of it.
