I'm pretty sure that's just untargetability, almost exclusivly Zhonya's.
Trynd, Kayle, Kindered, and Taric still allow anyone to receive Sona heals. It's more the effects that render a champion untouchable rather than undamageable that make them untouchable by targeted heals.
