While I don't think he's the best designer (is anyone really), I like how his champions aren't so gimmicky that you have to "gut" them to make them not OP. That's not to say that he doesn't have OP champions, but his nerfs seem fair. I also love how he explains why he nerfs champions. At least I think he does. That might be Meddler.

Even with Jinx being considered "OP" right now, she's far from rage inducing. He introduced some really cool mechanics with Gnar and Vi is simply a cool and fun champion. I can't wait to play Ekko, been watching some PBE gameplay and he just looks absurdly fun.
I will admit that he seems a bit obsessed with the 'stacking autos' concept (Vi W, Jinx Q, Gnar W, Ekko passive) but honestly that's a healthy mechanic anyways since it emphasizes sustained damage and grants your opponent more time for counterplay.

I disagree, I hate her and always have. And I think the "how many abilities can we throw in a single kit" direction that a lot of recent champions have gone is stupid.

(that people just throw over and over and over again) No one denies that Lee Sin has pretty much always been broken and I can only assume Thresh doesn't get more hate because most people don't wanna play support. But that said, I don't think any of them are dumber than 
or 
for ability stacking kit.
(I also probably rate them all below Jinx & Yasuo because they've MOSTLY been annoyingly abused in the two "weirder" roles (JG & SUPP) as opposed to being main laners like Jinx & Yas (along with Fizz))

It says a lot about a champion if they are consistantly winning games even in the most dire of situations when you're immobile.
Imo its mostly her utilmate kits disgustingly overpowered. its an AOE ad scaling ult that has fast travel time.
THe percentage damage needs to go.
The scaling needs to be toned down. remember MF? She got gutted for having an AOE ult that shredded teams and scaled .8 off AD Why isn't jinx? Because she's flashier, that simple.

Sammystorm3 votesSeason 2 was an AoE meta. Season 3 was a mixed bag but we saw a lot of assassins go mid and in the jungle. Season 4 was similar to season 3 with at most 2 assassins. Usually only 1. I mean I can't remember when I have seen 3 assassins in one game.

Sammystorm1 votesThis is ironic because olaf was not touched in a single patch in season 2. He was nerfed in patch 3.1 and then reworked in patch 3.12 with a minor QoL buff in 3.6. All the powerful ad items that were released in season 3 caused bruisers to be very strong with one damage item and then full tank. We saw Nasus jungle, Renekton as the king of top lane, shyvana jungle, Rengar broken all the time, Ironically this is the last season we saw shen well he went top because he got kicked out of the jungle. Ahri wasn't really played as an assassin on her release. She definitely could do that but she was played more as an AoE mage with powerful clean up. The only assassins I can think of that might have been played in season 2 was Kat and Diana (AP master Yi if you count him). However Diana was tanky and was just absurd at the time and Kat would clean up fights not assassinate. The tanks weren't broken the magic resist and armor were broken. You would get 2000 hp and then stack armor and mr and be tankier then at any point up to the release of cinderhulk. Sejuani was never played until very recently. She was strong and riot pre-preemptively nerfed her but she wasn't ever played. Nautilas was one of the top junglers in season 2. Him, Mundo, shen, and maokai.

I also just really like his Zaun characters; Jinx and Vi are among my favorites, and Ekko is probably going to be a regular for me as well (been playing him on PBE, he's a lot of fun)
