Would you be able to provide a bit more clarity on this?
So currently, you can spawn a plant (without landing the ability on the enemy champion or an auto-attack) within the proximity of an enemy champion and it will attack an enemy champion once before it switches to a minion. I'm assuming that what you're saying means this will be fixed?
And I'm guessing this also means an enemy can stand right next to an enemy plant as long as it wasn't targeting them already?
What about when an enemy is attacking the plant, will it auto-retaliate? This is something I'd really like to see because then it requires your enemy to actually pay attention to the plant, it would be very clear for when the plant should be attacking them and when it shouldn't. I feel that without this, you're going to get a lot of instances where players will feel their plant should be attacking an enemy but it doesn't.
Also, if a plant is focused on an enemy champion who leaves the range of the plant, when the re-enter the range of the plant, will it attack them again?
Her plants can be really inconsistent sometimes, so when making changes to them it would be awesome to see some consistency be added to them at the very least.
Much appreciated.
Finally, (sorry so many questions!) I'd like to know what makes you feel the need to balance her. Is it her performance in Solo Queue or Pro Play or both? What is actually pointing out to you guys that Zyra is too strong at the moment because I feel like she's not really changed in strength for a long time but the meta favours her now. Once the meta shifts to something which isn't focused around the early laning phase, will we some love come back to Zyra to make up for her being in an unfavourable meta?
