if the mana regen changes go through
every mid will probably just buy frost queens claim again because of it's mana regen.
and then instead of riot realizing the problem they will nerf frost queens claim.

Joke's on you, FQC gets its mana regen nerfed to 75%.
I feel like they're pushing raw mana onto champions instead of mana regen.
I expect RoA and Seraph's to become a pick on most midlaners.
This is exactly what they fucking said they wanted to do.
"We want to push raw mana onto AP mids, and Mana Regen into supports." ^hence new morellonomicon.
Do people just give things a half glance then bitch about it?
I'm not bitching about it, I was just stating what I thought based on the changes. And I never saw that post from them, so indeed I was right.
Sorry, that was rude, I didn't mean to imply you were butching, but all the other people saying Riot is killing mages by changing mana Regen, as if Riot does not know what they are doing.
What Riot wants players to do and what they'll actually do are 2 very different things. Exhibit A: Tank Ekko, twice.
Just bringing up stats here so people don't post random riot-hate comments without considering numbers:
FQC: 2200g 100% base mana regen 10% cd 50 AP 2g per 10s Money passive 90s cd slow
Athene's: 2100g 75% base mana regen 20% cd 40 AP Weird heal passive 100% base mana/health regen depending on your current % health/mana
My own thoughts on the matter: These two items actually look pretty similar to each other right now. If they allow that weird healing passive to work on yourself, then it would definitely be a good buy.
If they keep the weird healing passive on Athene's proc when you deal damage, only when it's fully charged or at a certain threshold with the blood stacks, and heal you based on how many stacks then we could keep some decent sustain for mages.
