The thing about Jhin that doesn't make sense

So he's got the identity of a sniper with his ult and all, yet unlike virtually all other "sniper" type champions his ult has a slow built in. Other sniper-ish champions likeCaitlyn Xerath Jinx KogMaw Do not get CC on their ults, Their Super long range ults are there to finish the job and pick up the stragglers. But FAR too often you seeJhin **Engaging **the fight with his ult (especially in pro play) and even end up killing someone by the 3rd/4th shot with his team following up.
Well Idk, I personally feel like he accomplishes far too much while having a huge "safety net" of distance on his ult, and somewhat breaks the "snipers rule" of finishing people off at the end of a fight, rather than being a 4 part engage tool.

Tldr; Nerf the slow on his ult

Edit: I think the slow on his first couple bullets should be toned down to lower his engage potenital

Cait and Jynx ( and Ezreal ) snipe with only a single projectile, meaning that it's actually pretty irrelevant for them to have a slow for anything more than "feel;" unlike Jhin, if they hit their shot they have nothing else to hit with. Jhin, on the mean time, has to hit four shots in a row to get the fully bang for his buck, and the slow makes it so that getting hit with the previous shot makes the following ones much more difficult to dodge.

Kog'maw, meanwhile, also has a long-range ultimate that he can fire several times ... and several times after ... and several times after that. His ult acts more like a Spellblade proc for some more classic builds ( that are probably less than optimal nowadays, but ... ) and, more importantly, he can just use it whenever. You can actually just continuously spit out his ultimate without any sort of real drawback, so allowing it to chain into itself forever would just be a terrible idea.

Xerath's ultimate is the only one really comparable to Jhin's in this sense, although it's worth noting that Xerath can also dip into Rylai's perfectly fine to shove a slow onto his ult, plus it's a full circle and has more range vs. Jhin's conical targeting limitations. It's also more reliable to land, as its projectiles land half a second after firing no matter how far away they're aimed at, unlike Jhin who has "proper projectiles" that hit further away points later than close points.

yes, most of what you said it true, but perhaps I didn't make myself entirely clear, Jhin's ult is too strong, I think it should be nerfed, It often deals big damage and slows people with very little risk to jhin. I tried to elude to this by saying "he accomplishes far too much" with his ult. I guess what I think is that his first 3 shots shouldn't slow as hard as they do right now to tone down his engage potenital

Pretty sure he's getting nerfs on the PBE.

Yeah his damage is getting nerfed, but I don't really think taking away damage from a damage focused role (adc) is really the right way to go about it. I mean, his damage probably is too high (that fat 4th shot) but I think the slow is honestly the main problem, that's just one man's opinion though. It's kinda hard to describe, but it just feels like every single time he ults he has your team "by the balls" until his ult is done
