Worlds balance =/= Soloq balance

People need to stop saying "If this champion is OP, why not in worlds?" or "If this champion is weak, why in worlds?"

The reason worlds teams pick a champion is not because it is individually OP in kill power, escapes or whatever. Notice the kind of champions they tend to pick, this doesn't apply always but most of the time, they provide strong team utilities, are good for coordinated play, counter pick popular picks or work well with specific team compositions.

While in soloq, Rek'Sai is trash, she is god tier in worlds.

While in worlds, Vel'Koz is not picked, he is still very oppressive in soloq.

They are different beasts, don't confuse them. Even if there is some crossover, that is because the particular champion is both OP and is one of those who provides strong teamplay tools as well. Or is just so absurdly OP that they should be disabled in both until fixes are found.

Either look at competitive meta or top tier soloq meta imo. You will see things are pretty similar. Ez is top tier at both challenger solo q and worlds, for example, as well as RekSai.

Worlds show you how a champion looks, at their best.
