I've become disappointed with how Riot handles champion glitches/problems.

Remember Zyra release? She was so strong they didn't wait a patch, they flat out hotfixed her because she was a problem. Remember Lee Sin release? He was so weak that he as well was hotfixed. Yorick release? Huge bug that caused him to contribute 600+ deaths? They fixed that ASAP.

Now fast forward to today. Azir is slathered with bugs and not much is done to fix it, patches coming slower and slower. Sion's Q/R not working bug is still an issue. Major things like this should NOT be slipping through the cracks unaddressed. Yes, I understand that the bug/fix system is definitely complex and is a nasty beast that I cannot understand. Again, I don't want to 100% disparage your work or your jobs, but I'm getting extremely frustrated. I can't help but feel that if Azir was released a year or two ago, his bugs would be top priority and be fixed regardless of patch or time.

I might be the only one but I'm disappointed that this is happening.

Azir mentioned in every bug fix section = Riot not working on Azir

How did you get that? Did you consider that maybe the issues are really tough to fix and are causing more problems as they try to find a workaround? They don't just press a button and "poof", the bug is gone. It's not always simple.

Of course it's not but the amount of bugs are getting to the point where it feels like Azir wasn't even well play-tested. Why did they release him if he has these problems? Why let him still be playable even with these crippling issues that can utterly gimp a team? It just feels unprofessional.

While speculation I believe it happened like this: Azir on release had a lot of subtle niche bugs that had large, obviously unforseen effects on the game, like the jumping to tower ruins, displacing the turret, or bonus experience on ult-use. Things that are either really specific or very hard to notice that it could slip through the PBE. They then fixed those, but at the same time caused more bugs.

When it comes to coding, more moving parts means fixes can become just as dangerous as the bugs themselves. Azir has a lot of new interactions in his kit so I imagine the bug-fix situation is pretty rough. Fix one bug, get 1000 more errors you know? Granted this all simply personal speculation.

As far as time fixed, it honestly depends on the bug itself. Remember Shen ult bug? That thing lasted what? A year? I completely agree Azir is not in a stable place and that it's a problem, but I think it's much more a situational issue tan a general one.
