Is soraka underrated?

Before if she was caught by a blitz, thresh, naut hook or annie, nami, sona stun she was dead. Now I notice she sustains her adc (ie vayne, jinx any) and "counters" the kill laners that once countered sustain champs. Has the kill>sustain>poke heirarchy changed? Or is soraka underrated? Or am I overhyping her power? Her ult means adc and anyone else on the map won't die (unless REALLY stupidly caught far from turret or team). Her silence means thresh can't q in and E as he's in the circle or zed can't assassinate her or anyone else if she E's the place where adc or anyone is.

Tbh I just stand behind my adc and if she gets pulled then I just put the silence under one of the enemies and continually heal.

Shes not underrated at all, shes played a ton in diamond+ because soraka is near broken if she positions correctly. Problem is, is that people in lower elo dont know where to stand when they play champions with no mobility.

That's pretty much the same now.

I wouldn't call her overrated. Her heal basically has a large trade off that a lot of people don't like and her Q has issues. I think a lot of people also miss the mana battery.

She is fine and works okay, the problem is she requires proper positioning and timing to pull off her kit. Using your W/R too late = dead ally and placing your E in the wrong spot means no silence. Also if you can't land Q you will die easily. As for her as a kit, she can counter kill lanes pretty hard because those champions rely on their skills and executing their target to get ahead. Her heals keep your allies alive while your E prevents them from using their spell rotation. Also Q is easy to land on people who come towards you.
