Not Enough Feedback On New Zilean
Here's mine: I was quite excited about his changes. His stun radius seemed wide and his range minus the slow/speed up quite big. But when I tried him out, there were major problems. His bomb targeting enemy champions first seems to be bugged or clunky... too many times have a minion or ally pick it up instead of the enemy when there was an enemy in range. His q is an incredibly slow skillshot, with possibly an enemy indicator of where it will land (there's one on my side of the client), and it is difficult to hit anyone. You often have to be right next to your melee minions to hit the opponent. It is not very effective as a zoning tool because it lasts a very short amount of time on the ground, and the pickup radius is incredibly small. I also know a bronze player that only played zilean because it was a champion they could play without getting yelled at--they could just focus on using the ultimate (and you would have to tell him not to use the ultimate when the adc is getting low from taking gromp). I feel like those players would quit the game due to lack of viable champions a beginner can play without getting flamed.
I was excited for the increase in zilean winrate and so were the streamers that read the patch notes. Seems like as usual, the patch notes write was very good and the balance/programming team were not. He feels too clunky and not very rewarding to play. The few times I landed a stun, it was due to pure luck (what are the chances that the bomb decides to attach itself to the same champion twice, especially if you consider that you can't qwq immediately due to q having a long cast animation), so it did not feel rewarding. Overall, I prefer the old zilean, and that's saying something because the old zilean was a really boring champion.
