Can Syndra get a buff?

I know a lot of people look at Syndra as this 'no skill press R to win' champ, but there's no denying she's struggling at the moment. On a lot of the stat sites her winrate is around 45-46% with a 2% pickrate, which are pretty miserable stats.

I feel like the best thing for Syndra is to give her more skill expression when using her ult, so she can be buffed without feeling unfair to play against. I think that adding a passive that makes her ult do more damage the more abilities you hit someone with would be a good start, and would allow for buffs on her other abilities.

I just love Syndra's playstyle and thematic so much it hurts seeing her in such an awful position, we need to bring her power back!

As much as i hate playing against syndra, she does need a buff shes pretty bad atm.

And so does Lissandra and Lux.

She needs buffs, but not damage buffs. Her mana costs should be reduced for earlier stages of the game. That's honestly all they have to change and then she's be in a good spot.

Also she'd be indirectly buffed if they nerfed Azir who is arguably one of her worst matchups.

I hate playing against Syndra. She just spams Q off cooldown. If I were to buff her, I'd change her Q cooldown from 4 at all ranks to 8/7/6/5/4 and increase her AP ratio on her Q from 65% to 75%.

She already doesn't do damage unless she sets up her balls before she ults. There's actually a lot of skill involved at playing the champion as you can definitely tell a good Syndra player from a great one by the way they juggle their balls and play out the micro game in lane. The fact that people don't respect her enough and then complain how she kills them with 1 ability is another story though.

She's not really terrible but other mages are just better than her atm so why would you ever pick her? Reverting some of the unnecessary nerfs that she received last season might be the way to go.

No. because whenever she's in a balanced state it ends up becoming q 6 times, and regardless if you hit or miss you're still killing squishies with targeted r.

Here are some ideas:

Q: Dark Sphere Cooldown increased to 8/7/6/5/4 seconds Base damage increased to 100 + 65% AP

W: Scatter the Weak Cooldown reduced to 12/11/10/9/8 seconds.

R: Unleashed Power Balls now travel to the target point rather than the target champion and each additionally deal 2/3/4% of the target’s missing health in magic damage.

Her poke would be stronger and more accessible but also offer longer windows for counter-play. Her ult would be stronger but require more skill.

I absolutely agree with you. And those people that are talking about how is syndra based only on her r never or once played her, and dont know how to counter her. I have 850k on her and i know she is a hard champion to master. If u are smart enough, and if u are squishy, u will know that u domt go on syndra when she has her ult on. Lets take Rengar, when her r is up he can burst any squishy champ just by jumpin on them, he uses all his abilities in 0.5 sec and there is nothing u can do exept if u have item 3157 . Like that ites is the perfect solution how to counter Syndras r, just learn when to use it. So hard omg. The rest of her abilities are skillshoots which are really hard to hit. Especially qe or we combo.

I hate playing against her , but I bought her SG skin so I played her a lot lately , she doesn't really need a buff , her problem is her range is too short , for her damage , she needs no buff at all , it's just her range is a bit too short and risky to q w

What would help her the most tbh would be to fix her various bugs, and even out the ranges on her abilities. Everytime I play her, I am plagued with bugs and stupid shit either not going off, or not hitting the enemy when it very clearly does, not stunning..... etc. And the fact that her E sends the orbs outside of her w range, making her combos feel extremely clunky. Also her W feels excruciatingly slow to use and cast, making it very hard to hit. Otherwise, I think she does need some other buffs too, because even if she plays fine in some situations, she falls short compared to every other mage atm, and she cannot use many keystones effectively.

So here are Syndra issues

She does 30 damage with q early game She can no longer get away with W poke bullying By the time her Q does damage she is level 9 at which point laning phase is over.. and she is a suprise surprise lane bully Junglers have nothing to clear... lanebully without an escape GOOD LUCK

Even if they include what you asked for she ll still be useless due to written above

I believe Syndra should definitely get a buff. Why pick her when you have a more easy, more better champion to pick over her? Veigar
