I'm really sick of this "this is top tear this is trash tear" bullshit.

I get that some champions are significantly stronger then others in the numbers game. I also understand that some champions are just not playable. But I'm sorry just because a champion is inferior on paper dose not mean jack crap when you factor in the human element. I have seen time and time again that any "OP" can be crushed if the other guy knows his champion better. In my mind all the champions in league should be on equal power levels with there kits being the only distinguishing factors. And the out come of games should be solely biased on player skill. I get that's unlikely to happen but I'm sick of things like Jayce, Mord, and Galio getting called "trash tier" just because they don't work out on paper and require some actual skill and fineness to play well. I under stand most league players aren't looking for a actual challenge in there game play and will just bounce from flavor of the month to flavor of the month but god damn it the few of use that stick to our guns and play our champions regardless of the meta deserve better then to be called trash tier.

http://img.designswan.com/2015/01/porcelainMonster/1.jpg Consider measuring the performance of the population of each champion. Performance will overlap, and the averages will be in different places.

How do you see the expression of champion skill/difficulty affecting those curves?

There's not much finesse with Morde. I mean, how could there be...? Unless you are literally AFK or pointing abilities in the opposite direction, I don't see how he's mechanically hard. He's strategically hard, but not mechanically. He has a low win rate because his competition is OP and his numbers were gutted. That's pretty much it.

There isn't exactly a correlation on how good a champ is versus how much skill they take. Champs are put in tiers like this to the community because they really don't perform as well as other champs. And honestly if you really love playing a champ then you shouldn't care what others say about it just so long as you get to have fun playing that champ. And if you actually care then let your performance in game speak for you.

Even champion.gg shows that after X amount of games a winrate average can sky rocket up to an additional 8%.............Kassadin prime example. http://champion.gg/champion/Kassadin

After 50 games you go from 49% winrate average to about 54.7%. Just 50 games. If that Kassadin knows Kassadin, and that "OMG SICK PLAYS GG NO RE Fizz " (who sits at just under 53% win overall http://champion.gg/champion/Fizz/Middle) only has about 15 games ranked on Fizz, you can guess who will statistically win.
