That would be cool, but I mean Mercurial equivalent for AP would actually be fine, because Zhonya's BIG drawback is that it leaves you vulnerable to set up like blitz knock up.

just think about it, a rengar with 1 item that gives 120 ad, 30% on top of his passives that can give him 30%

? I see it done pretty often in higher elos and pro play where people know how to build reactively, and realize you don't have to finish an item entirely before moving on to a new one.
You can sit with a QSS in your inventory until you build your 5 other items.
