Let people play off-meta in normals!

Ranked may be a different story for sure, but in normals if I want to play Ashe support I should be allowed to without facing abuse from my team

Honestly Taric Top is kinda strong and I wouldn't consider it extremely off meta.

As for playing off meta, just do it, ignore the haters. You can't get banned for it.

Well, why not? My friend was playing him in jungle and usually caried hard.

True, but you should still ask first. If you can get a single Yes from anyone on your team, even if your adc says no, than you can just say all you saw was the Yes and lock in. Then you aren't alone, and people have to respect the mix of it is norms and others are actually okay with it.

Much harder to flame in chat when you know there's someone else on your team who thinks what's happening is okay. Safety in numbers as the saying goes.

Big difference between "off meta" and "ineffective". Make sure you practice with friends or in coop vs ai so that you can comfortably compete with the pick. It might be a normal game, but there are still four other players relying on you being able to fulfill your role.

Gotta remember that for some people normal is still competitive.

Best place to do off meta is in a premade

You may get abuse from people who fail at rank and try hard normals but they have no basis. Just mute them.
