So what is Orianna good at? Besides dying and not dealing any damage.
In this match, I couldn't farm, spam any abilities, or do anything useful without dying....So any advice?

Dude, Orianna could be one of the most OP champions if you can learn how to position your ball correctly. Her W can deal tons of damage and her ult can change a teamfight in an instant.

Even though this match is pretty old, it's one of my best matches because it was like the 6th time I ever played her
As for advice...Try to be spontaneous when and where you move your ball around. Go under the assumption that your opponent is always anticipating that you're gonna put it where they are, so throw it in different spots near them to catch them off guard.
Don't underestimate the power of your auto attacks too...they hurt, especially early on
Orianna is one of the very few champions that can still have a huge contribution to a team even if she's way behind or even feeding because her utility comes in spades.
Everything you're not doing.
What are your runes/masteries? And what was your skill order?
You took Orianna top lane? Sorta sucks because top is a really long lane and you have no innate tankiness (or high-base damage abilities) so you need to build carry to do work. You built Athenes first item versus 2 top who deal physical damage, so you didn't have any stats to survive the lane nor the raw damage to just kill them. You also lost to bots it seems with a 0-10 jungler and only 130 cs. Honestly, I would have just said to kill the bots until your jungler's score didn't matter and you could 1v5. That being said, Orianna is a difficult champion and is best played when you get a bit more experienced.
Good Luck.
She's good at utilitying your whole team from 100 to 0
She's much more of a team player than a bursty 1v1 gal. Her kit is centered around "control", and it's exceptionally powerful with those who know how to use it effectively.
start with e. auto attack the enemy laner at lvl 1 and shield yourself (ctrl+e) as soon as your enemy starts to attack back. keep poking a bit with your q. Q and auto attacks are your main trading tools. dont use w/r to waveclear/trade unless it grants you a kill because you will run oom. it is ok to ult a single member of their team if its gonna kill him. don't hesitate to use it. for mana trouble you can get double dorans and ask your jungler for blue buff. at lvl 9 (when is maxed q) it 2 shots caster minion. after
/
you can start waveclearing with Q and W and take jungle camps. you are a mage. you want to scale. you can farm sidelanes if the wave is at your tower but dont splitpush.
is a bad champ for 1v1s. when your team wants to take a tower zone the enemy (place it where you dont want your opponents to be) with your ball after you wavecleared. in teamfights give your ball to somebody who jumps in the enemy team
to name a few. when they decide to jump in press RW to wombo the enemy team. if you have no engage you need to watch out for a good moment to ult (catch as many enemies as you can) with it. after that keep using your q (it doesnt need to be their adc/apc. if they are out of range it is ok to Q(W) their tank/bruiser. damage is damage.) and shield your teammates with e. you can decide if you want to speed up your teammates or you want to slow their team.
her passive is great whether u just go aa which you can do tbh and do good
And here's an slightly better game...
Why are the cient's tips so vague and useless, I'll never know...
Stakkik shiv? While she does have strong basic attacks, she benefits more from AP items than AD. She has some mana problems so its best to start with a mana regen item like Morello's or Athena's. Look up guides to champions if you're truly lost, like this one.
