@Riot - Katarina, the Balance of Shifting Power

Alright, so I'm gonna go ahead and rant about Katarina. At the moment, I think she is a bit unhealthy to gameplay. Yes, strike me all you want "Oh, but just lock her down with CC", but I'm not talking about whether she is OP or not, I want to talk about shifting her power and why it gives not just the enemy team, but also the player a lot more satisfaction and usefulness.

At the moment, Kat's ultimate is just too damn strong, especially in teamfights, when almost all stuns are a skillshot and can be blocked by tanks guarding her. But if you do manage to lock her down before she kills you, her ultimate has such a short cooldown that she'll have it up again after she respawns, also take into account that she doesn't even use a resource. Now, lets say a Katarina player misses their ultimate, are still quite healthy and alive, but didnt kill anyone, thus not activating her cooldown reducing passive, now she is pretty useless to her team. Too squishy to go in, and get back out safely, but also lacks enough damage to kill most of the enemy team, barring the ADC. At the moment, Katarina is pretty much a one trick pony, waiting 30 seconds for her ult to get back up. I suggest shifting power from her ultimate into some of her other skills, making it more forgiving to the enemy team after she uses her ultimate, and more forgiving for Kat players if they miss it, giving them more consistent damage output while without the ult.

TLDR: Nerf ult, buff other skills slightly.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, discussion is welcome :)

This is what you call a balanced assassin. She has to be patient and wait for the right set of circumstances. if she misplays shes punished.
