Can matchmaking be changed so that you can't get matched with someone who you just played with?

It has the potential to be very toxic if you get matched with someone who you either played with or against the game before.

Sure, sometimes it's fine, but a lot of the time what happens is that it allows for flaming to occur based on mistakes made in the previous game.

It's an annoying feature and I don't think it should happen. I want a full game of 9 fresh people every time I play league.

You run into problems with this at high elo where it can take 30+ minutes to find a game and even when you find a game you are still with the same people you played with last time. If they implemented this then the high elo players would never be able to find game.

You can make this happen right now, without even having to wait on Riot. How? Just take a break for a couple minutes between games.

Seriously. Get up, walk around for a few. Maybe grab a glass of water. Use the bathroom if you need to. Anything, really. Not only will it give the last players you saw a chance to cycle back into the queue so you most likely won't see them again, but it also lets you mentally reset before the next game. This can be especially helpful if you just got out of a game where you didn't play so well.

So apparently I got matched up with a guy played with once already about 11 games ago this can happen too, go figure

My room mate actually had a run in AGAINST Chauster like 3 times (not in a row)
